1. Scope

1.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all sales of electric balance bikes and related products (“Products”) by TRYDN Bikes Ltd (“TRYDN”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

1.2 We sell directly to consumers (B2C) and to trade customers (B2B). Certain clauses apply only to consumers (see Section 7) or trade customers (see Section 11).

1.3 By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

2. Products

2.1 All Products are manufactured to TRYDN’s design specification.

2.2 While we aim for accuracy, descriptions, specifications, and images are for guidance only.

2.3 It is your responsibility to ensure the Product is suitable for the intended use, rider age, weight, and ability.

3. Orders

3.1 Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

3.2 A contract forms when we confirm your order in writing or dispatch the Products.

3.3 We may refuse orders at our discretion, including where payment is not authorised, stock is unavailable, or fraud is suspected.

4. Prices & Payment

4.1 Prices are in GBP and include/exclude VAT as stated.

4.2 We may change prices before acceptance of your order.

4.3 Full payment is required before dispatch unless otherwise agreed with trade customers.

4.4 For B2C customers, we accept cash, card, or bank transfer. Finance options such as Klarna and PayPal are available on our website (subject to status).

4.5 For B2B trade customers, we accept bank transfer, payable upon invoice and prior to delivery.

5. Delivery

5.1 Delivery charges and timescales are confirmed at the time of ordering.

5.2 Delivery dates are estimates; we are not liable for delays outside our control.

5.3 Risk transfers to you upon delivery. Title remains with TRYDN until full payment is received.

5.4 You must check the packaging and Products upon delivery and notify us of any visible damage within 48 hours.

6. Ownership & Risk

6.1 You own the Products once full payment is received.

6.2 Until ownership transfers, Products must be stored securely and not resold, modified, or disposed of without our consent (trade customers only).

7. Consumer Rights (B2C)

7.1 Consumers may cancel their order within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

7.2 To cancel, you must notify us in writing within this period.

7.3 Products must be returned unused, in original packaging, and at your expense.

7.4 Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned Products.

7.5 This right does not apply to customised or used Products.

8. Returns, Damage, and Warranty

8.1 Faulty Products

If your Product is faulty, you must notify us within 30 days of delivery for a refund, repair, or replacement.

8.2 Warranty Rights

After 30 days, consumers receive support under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and trade customers receive support under our limited warranty.

8.3 Manufacturer Warranty

All Products include a 6-month limited warranty covering manufacturing defects.

8.4 Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear

• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, impacts, neglect, or improper storage

• Damage resulting from incorrect return packaging or improper handling during return transit

• Unauthorised modifications or repairs

• Use outside intended purpose (e.g., public roads)

9. Damage Identified on Returned Items (B2C & B2B)

9.1 All returned Products are photographed and inspected upon arrival.

9.2 If additional damage is identified that was not reported prior to return, TRYDN may:

• Reject the return,

• Refuse a refund,

• Charge for repair costs,

• Deduct depreciation, or

• Return the Product to the customer.

9.3 Damage found after opening the return packaging will be assumed to have occurred prior to or during return transit unless the external packaging shows corresponding damage.

10. Courier Damage Investigations

10.1 Where potential transit damage is reported, TRYDN must submit a claim to the courier.

10.2 No refund, replacement, or settlement will be processed until the courier has completed their investigation.

10.3 Courier investigations typically take 7–14 working days. This timeframe is outside our control.

10.4 Liability will not be accepted by TRYDN until the courier’s written report is received.

11. Safety

11.1 Electric balance bikes are not road-legal and must only be used on private land or closed tracks.

11.2 Riders must wear appropriate protective equipment, including helmets.

11.3 Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

11.4 TRYDN accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage caused by unsafe or inappropriate use.

12. Liability

12.1 Our liability is limited to the price of the Products supplied.

12.2 We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of business, profits, or goodwill.

12.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence

• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

• Any liability that cannot legally be excluded

13. Trade Customers (B2B)

13.1 No Consumer Cancellation Rights

Consumer cancellation rights under Section 7 do not apply.

13.2 Inspection Requirement

Trade customers must inspect Products immediately upon delivery.

Any damage, defects, or shortages must be reported in writing within 48 hours.

Claims made after this period are invalid.

13.3 Our Liability to Trade

Our liability is limited to either replacing defective Products or refunding the purchase price — at our discretion. Delivery charges are not refundable.

13.4 Title Retention

Title remains with TRYDN until payment is received in full. We may repossess unpaid goods.

13.5 Restrictions on Resale

Trade customers must only resell Products in the condition supplied. Rebranding, modification, or misrepresentation is prohibited without written consent.

13.6 Trade Returns for Defects

Trade returns for suspected defects will be collected by TRYDN for inspection and diagnosis.

Completion of inspection does not imply acceptance of fault.

TRYDN will determine whether the issue is:

(a) a manufacturing defect, or

(b) damage caused by misuse, incorrect handling, inadequate packaging, or transit.

TRYDN will decide, at its sole discretion, whether the remedy is repair, replacement, partial refund, or rejection of the claim.

13.7 Trade Returns for Other Reasons

Trade returns for non-defect reasons must be organised by the trade customer at their own cost.

Returned Products must be unused and in original packaging.

An admin fee of £50 per returned Product applies to cover inspection and repackaging.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days following satisfactory inspection.

14. Inconsistent Damage Claims

TRYDN reserves the right to reject any claim where:

• The condition of the Product or packaging is inconsistent with the explanation provided, or

• The damage pattern is not compatible with normal transit damage.

15. Return Packaging Responsibility

Customers are responsible for packaging returned Products securely.

TRYDN accepts no liability for damage caused by inadequate, incomplete, or improper packaging during return transit.

16. Depreciation Deductions

Where returned Products show wear, use, missing parts, or damage, TRYDN may deduct:

• depreciation,

• repair costs, or

• parts costs

from any refund amount — or refuse a refund entirely.

17. Intellectual Property

17.1 All intellectual property relating to our Products, brand, and marketing materials belongs to TRYDN.

17.2 Customers may not reproduce, copy, or use our designs, logos, or trademarks without written consent.

18. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including strikes, supply chain disruptions, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
